Pamela Wilde grew up on the far south side of Chicago. She is a 1983 graduate of the American Academy of Art in Chicago, graduating with a degree in Advertising Design.

Pamela currently lives in Harford County, Maryland and enjoys working from her home studio and public studio space at Artists Emporium in beautiful downtown Havre De Grace, Maryland.

In recent years her creative work has been focused primarily on fine art portraiture, studio, plein air painting, as well as photography. Combining skills from different disciplines offers her own unique process.

From conception to completion every effort is made to make a painting that will not only capture the essence of the moment but also reflect the personal joy of the artist.

Pamela is a representational artist working from life and is currently involved in a twelve month community portrait project called Portraits from Havre De Grace. For more information and to become a part of the schedule spring of 2019 exhibition, sign up  at;
